Bluebeard

Barba Azul

According to legend, there was a man called Blue Beard, known for his enormous fortune and because all his wives had mysteriously disappeared. There lived in his neighborhood a widow who had two beautiful daughters, Elena and Gloria, whom Blue Beard wanted in marriage and entertained with luxuries to conquer any of them.

The older one rejected him because he inspired fear in her; however, little Gloria, being more naive, ended up marrying him, disregarding the advice of her mother, who, through the letters, had seen the bad end of their union.

One day Bluebeard set out on a long journey, and left his wife Gloria in the palace to take care of everything and allow her to celebrate a great feast; when he left, he gave her the keys to all the doors, forbidding her to use the smallest one.

After the feast, and all the guests having left, the young woman began to enter all the rooms, marveling at the treasures that were hidden there. Finally she came to a hidden and mysterious door, and guided by her curiosity she opened it with the forbidden key, and discovered to her horror that it concealed the corpses of numerous women lying in a large pool of blood.

Gloria was terrified to see that the key was stained with blood and it was impossible to clean it because of the spell it concealed.

Bluebeard returned by surprise and when he asked his wife for the keys he could see that she had disobeyed him and full of fury he set out to kill her by taking her to the secret room. Filled with fear she began to scream and summoned her brothers who arrived in time to prevent the crime, putting an end to Bluebeard's life.

Ancient lesson: Curiosity, having its charms, is often paid for with sorrow and tears.

Morgana's lesson: Let yourself go by your intuition, that hunch that shows you the hidden truth as if you already know what is hidden behind the door.

This legend inspires our Bluebeard necklace, where the key becomes a symbol of power and intuition. The key pendant represents not only curiosity and mystery, but also strength and wisdom gained from facing the unknown.

With this necklace, you will carry with you an amulet that will remind you that your intuition is the true key to discovering the truth.
